On cold days like today, an ooey gooey chocolate treat is delightful and comforting. I have the perfect recipe for you.
- 1 cup softened butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour (You may need just a little bit more depending on your preference.)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups of Toll House Semi-Sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place softened butter in bowl and mix until fluffy. Add sugars and vanilla.
Add eggs one at a time until well mixed and fluffy.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Mix flour mixture in gradually until desired consistency is reached. When all of the flour has been added, stir in the chocolate chips.
Roll the cookie dough into 1 inch balls. Place on cookie sheet and bake 8-11 minutes. Once cookies are done, let them rest on the pan for about 2 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool.
*Note: I only made half a batch as I was short an ingredient.
